Weight Limits To Be Removed-4/28/2026

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) North Central Region today announced the schedule for lifting the springtime posted road weight restrictions on some of the region’s state highways.

Weight restrictions will be lifted on Thursday, April 30, 2026, 12:01am CDT, on the following highways:

1. WIS 52, Marathon County, from Little Elm Road to Shawano County line.
2. WIS 52, Shawano County, from Marathon County line to US 45.
3. WIS 52, Langlade County, from WIS 55 to Forest County line.
4. WIS 52, Forest County, from Langlade County line to Smith Road.
5. WIS 55, Forest County, from Argonne Street to Michigan State line.
6. WIS 107, Marathon County, from Marathon County Road A to the Lincoln County line.
7. WIS 107, Lincoln County, from Marathon County line to WIS 64.
8. WIS 107, Lincoln County, from Matthews Road to Lincoln County Road S.
9. WIS 122, Iron County, from WIS 77 to Michigan State line.
10. WIS 153, Marathon County, from Marathon County Road J to Shawano County line.
11. WIS 153, Shawano County, from Marathon County line to US 45.
12. WIS 169, Iron County, from Ashland County line to US 2.

*Emergency load restrictions on WIS 70 between the intersections of County GG and WIS 70 in Loretta, Sawyer County, and WIS 13 and WIS 70 in Fifield, Price County, remain in effect.
