Saturday, February 28th from 8am-Noon – Join WJNR/WHTO/WOBE Radio & Hoots at the 7th Annual Keyes Peak Uphill Truck Drags. Racing starts at 10:30am. This is Florence County’s largest fundraiser! Event proceeds go to three great volunteer groups; Keyes Peak Ski Hill Committee, Blue Ox Trail Riders and Florence Volunteer Fire Department. Food and Beverage on-site…no carry-ins. Adults 13+ $10. Children 12 and under are free. The big $10,000 raffle is happening again this year too! Drawing will be at the event at 3:00pm. The tickets are $100 and only 500 will be sold. Healthy Kids Day is a national YMCA initiative dedicated to helping kids and families build healthy habits, stay active, and celebrate the importance of wellness. Each year, Ys across the country host events that inspire children to move, learn, and grow—and we’re excited to bring that energy to our community! Join us on April 18th for our Healthy Kids Day event from 11 AM–1 PM at the Northern Lights YMCA main building for a fun, engaging day filled with activities, resources, and hands-on opportunities for families to explore healthy living together.
