Try Snowshoeing for Free at Chili in the Woods 2/7/26
The “Chili in the Woods” snowshoeing event will be Saturday, February 7 at the
Keyes Peak Chickadee Trails this year from 10am – 2pm. If there is not enough snow to
snowshoe, participants can hike the trails instead. The 1.5 mile Chickadee Trail connects to the
new 3.92 mile mountain bike trail system at the top of Keyes Peak.
Snowshoes will be available onsite to try for free. No pets please. Get outside for some fresh
air, exercise and camaraderie around a campfire. Come enjoy some free chili, hot dogs on the
fire, cookies and beverages with your friends.
The Chickadee trails are located 3 miles south of Florence on Hwy 101. Turn left at the Scenic
Overview sign just before the Keyes Peak Ski Lodge entrance. The food tent will be set up
between the parking lot and the trailhead sign.
