Florence Town Rummage and Sidewalk Sale

Spring has finally arrived so now is the time to start your spring cleaning. Look in your closets, garage, attic and search for items that you are not using that may be someone else’s treasure.

The Florence County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring its annual community wide rummage/sidewalk sale for the town of Florence and Spread Eagle. The sale is scheduled for June 1st, from 9am-2pm, rain or shine.

Community members are encouraged to participate by scheduling their own sale for that date and contacting the event coordinator to be included in a directory listing. The directories will be available at area businesses in Florence. No registration fee is required. Participants are encouraged to provide their own signage for the event.

Businesses are also encouraged to participate by offering sidewalk sales, meal specials, etc. Individual organizations can run lemonade stands, sell pop and water, cookies, etc. as a fundraiser.
