"Do it for Daniel" is a documentary of Daniel Olson's struggles with anxiety and depression which ultimately led him to take his life at age 19. We want to educate people and get rid of the stigma of mental illness so people understand that it is a common medical illness. We also want to give hope and create a dialogue so those who suffer don't feel ashamed and aren't afraid to ask for help, allowing for early recognition and intervention which is so important in treating this disease.
This event is brought in partnership with the Olson Family, Northpointe Behavioral Health Systems, Northwoods Adventures, and other community donors.
