Iron Mountain, MI – July 28, 2024 – Downtown Iron Mountain is excited to announce the return of Italian
Fest on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 12 PM to 11 PM. This year’s festival promises a day full of Italian
heritage, cuisine, and entertainment for all ages. The Children’s Area, sponsored by First National Bank &
Trust, will now be open from 12 PM to 9:15 PM. 12-6pm The children area will host bounce houses, blow
up slides and more. After 6 pm, a tent and projector will be set up to show “Cars 2,” offering children an
enjoyable movie experience while adults savor the closing band’s performance. We plan to have the
mvoie start at 7:30pm and done at approximately 9:15pm
Italian Fest features a variety of activities, including the Italian dinner toss, grape stomp, and
performances by local artists. Wine enthusiasts can indulge in tastings with Michael LoDuca from Loduca
Wine, sampling over eight varieties of his family’s wines, including the newly introduced Italian Sangrias
with fruit puree.
New this year Multi-State Realty and First National Bank have generously provided free admission tickets
for veterans, available at the Kingsford VA Office, to honor their service and enable them to partake in the
festivities.
Volunteers are essential to the festival’s success, and those who lend a hand will receive free admission,
drink tickets, and food vouchers. Italian Fest is made possible through the support of sponsors such as
LIUNA Local 1329, Iron Mountain Area Tourism, and many others.
