Love is in the air, and the DDA is inviting all of our friends to celebrate the magic of love and luck in
Downtown Iron Mountain with the launch of the “Lucky in Love” contest. From February 14 to March
17, community members are invited to share their heartwarming stories of love and luck tied to our
magnificent Downtown for a chance to win a gift basket filled with goodies from local businesses.
The contest aims to highlight the unique role that our Downtown plays in growing connections, creating
memories, and bringing people together. Whether it’s a romantic story, a memorable night with friends
at a local restaurant, or a moment shared on our Downtown Iron Mountain streets, the DDA wants to
hear about it!
“We believe that Downtown Iron Mountain holds a special place in the hearts of our community
members, and we’re excited to celebrate that love through the ‘Lucky in Love’ contest,” said Kenzie
Williamsen, Event Coordinator for Downtown Iron Mountain. “We invite residents to share their personal
stories and experiences that showcase the magic of downtown and the role it plays in their lives.”
To enter the contest, participants are invited to submit their stories via email to
Events@downtownironmountain.com with the subject line “Lucky in Love Contest Entry” or through a
dedicated form on the DDA’s website at downtownironmountain.com/lucky-in-love/
The deadline for submissions is March 17. All eligible entries will be entered into a drawing, and the
winner will be selected at random. The winner will receive a gift basket filled with treats and treasures
from local downtown businesses.
“We can’t wait to hear the heartfelt stories from our community members and celebrate the love and
luck that makes Downtown Iron Mountain so special.”
