A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Jackson, Trempealeau, Juneau, Monroe, Clark, La Crosse and Adams Counties.
The state saw 43 wildfires on Sunday and more could happen today if dry, windy conditions continue.
Most of the rest of the state continues to be under high or very high fire danger warnings.
Wardens remind residents that they should not be grilling outside or using campfires for at least the next several days. Ashes from fireplaces or grills and sparks from machinery or small engines could easily spark a wildfire and cause injury or serious damage.
