(AURORA, WI.)–The Florence County 8th graders and their parents or guardians will have an opportunity to participate in a Drug and Alcohol awareness and prevention program. It is titled “Keeping It Real.” The event is scheduled for May 17th from noon to 3pm. The program is offered by a large collaboration of community agencies with special thanks to NWTC, Jacob Lundholm Funeral Homes and the Aurora Rescue Squad. The inter-active program helps pre-teenagers identify the risks and consequences of drug and alcohol related activities. Sign up is requested at the Florence County Health Department.
