(IRON MOUNTAIN, MI.)–100+ Women Who Care in Dickinson County will hold their first quarterly meeting of 2018 on Tuesday, February 13, at Pine Grove County Club. Registration will be held from 5 to6pm, with the meeting beginning at 6pm. A pizza buffet will be available after the meeting for $8 per person. Following the group’s guidelines, three local 501(c)(3) charities will be selected for presentations after which the membership will vote for one of those charities to receive each individual member’s or team member’s donation of $100. Also, a representative from the Niles Hiltunen Benefit Fund will briefly discuss the impact of the over $23,000 donation given to the organization after the 100+ Women’s last meeting in November. Since its inception in December of 2012, 100+ Women Who Care of Dickinson County has raised over $445,000 for local 501(c)(3) charities or organizations in our community. Members are encouraged to nominate a worthy 501(c)(3) organization or charity. If four meetings have passed since a group was selected for the donation, it is eligible to be nominated again. For more information about this organization or for a form to join, please email dc100women@gmail.com. Membership forms will also be available at the door.
