Stars, Stripes & County Fair Nights: Celebrating 250 Years
of Freedom
122nd Florence County Fair | August 28–30, 2026
FLORENCE, Wis. – The Florence County Fair Board is pleased to announce the return of the
122nd Florence County Fair, taking place August 28–30, 2026, at the Florence County
Fairgrounds. This year’s theme, “Stars, Stripes & County Fair Nights: Celebrating 250 Years
of Freedom,” recognizes America’s 250th anniversary while celebrating the traditions,
community pride, and family fun that have made the Florence County Fair a cherished local
tradition.
Leading this year’s lineup are two of the fair’s signature attractions, the Mud Bog and the Truck
Pulls. These events continue to draw competitors and spectators from across the region, making
them some of the most anticipated moments of the weekend. The Lena Garden Tractor Club
Pull also returns, adding another favorite for motorsports enthusiasts.
The Florence County Fair is about more than horsepower. Throughout the weekend, visitors can
enjoy free bounce houses and inflatables, live music, karaoke, Wisconsin arm wrestling, old-
fashioned kids’ games, a classic car and motorcycle show, pony pulls, draft horse pulls, local
vendors, and a variety of fair food.
The Florence County Fair has always been about bringing people together, and this year’s
celebration continues that tradition. Along with longtime favorites and exciting new experiences,
fairgoers are encouraged to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary by wearing their favorite red,
white, and blue attire throughout the weekend. Visitors can also participate in the Red, White
& Blue Spirit Contest for a chance to win a special fair prize while showing off their patriotic
spirit.
The Florence County Fair Board extends its appreciation to the volunteers, sponsors, local
businesses, entertainers, and community members whose continued support makes the fair
possible each year.
