Extreme Heat
If you need a place to cool off during extreme heat, contact your local municipality to ask if a cooling center is available in your area. You can also call the non-emergency dispatch number, (715) 732-7627 to find out if any cooling centers are currently open.
Please note that cooling centers are not overnight emergency shelters. They are available as a safe, air-conditioned place to stay during the day and during their normal operating hours.
