(EAGLE RIVER, WI) Feb.10 – Eagle River Speedway promoters Pat and Patti Zdroik have unveiled a chock-filled, 17-date racing schedule at the popular Northwoods, third-mile clay oval, with a season opening race slated for Saturday, May 23.
The ’26 season schedule shows regular, Tuesday night racing which begins on June 9 with the “School’s Out” summer celebration. The jam-packed schedule includes 12 Tuesday night races, one Monday night qualifying race and four Saturday night special events.
The largest paying race in the track’s 51-year history will be the $10,000-to-win “Rumble At The River” B-modified event Monday, August 10 and Tuesday, August 11. The big event, presented by Dalbeck Sales and Dustin White Construction, will have additional details released in the very near future.
A pair of popular touring series will make their return to Eagle River Speedway – The Midwest Sprint Association (MSA) sprint cars, and the Badger Midgets. The open wheeled classes will appear Saturday, July 4 with the USRA late models and other divisions, while the Badger Midgets will return Saturday, July 18.
Tuesday, June 30 the track will host the Mark Zdroik Memorial race, complete with a fireworks display. The July 4 blowout will also include a massive fireworks display to celebrate the 250th year of our great nation. On July 18th, a Sick Air motorcycle show will be a part of the action.
For the first time ever, a pair of $1,000-to-win IMCA modified, Fast Shaft qualifier races will be held on a pair of Tuesday nights: June 30 and July 21. Both of those IMCA modified events will be sponsored by Dustin White Construction. Other popular events for the fans in ’26 include the Flag Day on-track autograph session (June 16), the annual bike giveaway night (June 23), an IMCA stock car special (July 7 – details to be announced), Christmas in July (July 14), Kid’s Coin Toss and Candy Drop (July 28), a street stock special (Aug. 4, details to follow), Back-to-school backpack giveaway night (Aug. 18), and points championship night (August 25). An on-track autograph session will also take place on championship night.
