Drug Bust-5/27/2025

In February 2025, the Northeast Tri-County Drug Enforcement Group (NETCDEG), led by the
Marinette County Sheriff’s Office and the Marinette Police Department opened an investigation into a
Methamphetamine Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO) operating in Marinette County. Over several
months of intense investigation, Investigators were able to identify several individuals involved in the sale
and distribution of methamphetamine.
Between April 30th and May 2nd 2025, Investigators from NETCDEG executed 7 search warrants in
relation to the investigation. 413.53 grams of Methamphetamine, Two Firearms, THC, Fentanyl,
Drug Paraphernalia, and $3,547 in U.S. Currency was seized.

Pound, John R. Hager 33 of Grover, Crystal S. Barthel 33 of Antigo, Second Row- Scott M. Klatt 47
of Menominee MI, Maya E. Lindsay 23 of Marinette, Hunter L. Shehow 23 of Peshtigo, Maggie M.
Throm 24 of Menominee MI, and Nickolas J. Wood 27 of Marinette were arrested in connection to the
investigation and formally charged by the Marinette County District Attorney’s Office. The individuals
are charged with one count of Conspiracy to Commit- Delivery of Methamphetamine greater than 50
grams. A Class C Felony punishable by up to 40 years in prison and/or fines of up to $100,000
These charges are merely allegations. All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in the
court of law
