IRON MOUNTAIN, MI (October 10, 2024)—The third annual Downtown Iron Mountain Pumpkin
Walk and Trunk & Treat is bringing a spooktacular time to downtown on Saturday, October
26 from 12:00pm – 3:00 pm at the Downtown Stage and parking lot.
Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson and First National Bank & Trust are pleased to once
again be the Presenting Sponsors. Prior to the two organizations joining forces for an
expanded event, Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson had held an annual Trunk & Treat
event in the medical facility parking lot.
“Pumpkin Walk 2023 was a great success, and we look forward to another great event this
year. Enjoying Halloween with our community members and distributing sweet treats to our
local children is wonderfully rewarding, said Mandy Shelast, President of Marshfield
Michigan Region. Marshfield is honored to once again partner with the DDA and First
National Bank & Trust as co-presenting sponsors of the third annual Pumpkin Walk.”
The Downtown Iron Mountain Pumpkin Walk was conceived in 2022 as a collaboration
between First National and the DDA to bring a Halloween Trunk & Treat event to Downtown
and also be able to involve the downtown businesses as the trunk hosts. The event also
serves as a companion to the annual Downtown Christmas Walk and Community Christmas
Tree Lighting.
“We’re excited to partner once again with such a community-centered organization like
Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson for this fun family event,” said Russ Kassin, First
National President & CEO. “Last year’s event was a tremendous success, drawing a large
turnout and receiving wonderful feedback from families and participants. We look forward to
building on that success this year and into the future.”
