Drug Bust-4/5/2024

On April 4, 2024, detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team
(UPSET) executed a search warrant at a residence located in Calumet, Michigan. A 37-
year-old male from Calumet and a 34-year-old female from Lake Linden were arrested
on charges related to the possession with the intent to deliver meth.
As a result of the search detectives seized approximately 6.5 ounces of crystal meth,
$6,851 in cash and evidence related to the distribution of meth.
Detectives also observed blasting caps and the MSP Bomb Squad was requested to safely
remove those devices.
Both suspects were lodged in the Houghton County Jail.
UPSET was assisted by the Houghton County Sheriff’s Department, the MSP Calumet
Post, the MSP K-9 unit and the MSP Bomb Squad.
