The 41–year–old male subject who died in the apartment fire located at 616 Elizabeth Street, Apartment #4, in the Village of Wausaukee on January 23, 2023 has been identified as Justin L. Delain. On 1/31/23, an autopsy was performed, and preliminary findings show that Mr. Delain died as a result of the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under review by the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations Fire Marshall’s Office and the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office.
