On December 15, 2022, detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team
(UPSET) conducted an investigation that resulted the arrest of two male suspects for the
distribution of crack cocaine.
Detectives from UPSET developed information identifying suspects involved in the distribution
crack cocaine. Detectives were able to obtain enough information to execute a search warrant at
a residence near Rapid River, Michigan. Detectives seized approximately 35 grams of crack
cocaine, drug paraphernalia, a handgun, and over $2,300 in cash. Two suspects were arrested and
lodged at the Delta County Jail. One suspect was from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was also
arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
Detectives were assisted by deputies from the Delta County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State
Police Hometown Security Team, and MSP K-9 Unit.
