Five people ranging in age from 17-36 were arrested on drug charges in Escanaba this week. According to UPSET, 34 year old Travis Anderson was arrested Monday at an Escanaba residence on numerous drug charges. After a 6 month long investigation by UPSET and the Escanaba Public Safety Department that spanned Delta, Menominee and Dickinson County as well as Wisconsin, a warrant was issued for the residence where Anderson was located. Methamphetamine, prescription drugs, scales and electronic devices as well as cash was seized. Along with Anderson, arrested were 19 year old Michael Bumstead of Gladstone, 27 year old April Hanson of Escanaba, 17 year old Mackenzie Dedominicis of Rapid River and 36 year old Joshua Tellefsen of Escanaba on a variety of drug and other charges. Additional suspects have been identified and other arrests and charges are pending.
