(GRAND CHUTE, WI)–Police in Grand Chute respondedĀ to an incident at an apartment complex in the 3000 block of 4th Street Thursday afternoon. It apparently involved a handgun. A woman entered the apartment and pulled a handgun on the man. The man struggled with her and took the gun away, and the woman left. Police evacuated the apartment building and asked people nearby to stay indoors as they continued their attemptĀ to make contact with the man. Police were seen walking around the buildings in tactical gear. The Brown/Outagamie County Bomb Squad was called, the chief said, to use their robot for surveillance. The incident ended when it was determined there was no individual in the apartment. Police are continuing to locate the man but they noted he is not wanted for any crime at this time.
