(BEAVER, WI.)–A traffic crash on Tuesday in Marinette County occurred on 25th Road approximately one mile North of State Highway 64 in the Town of Beaver. The preliminary investigation of the scene showed a four door sedan was south bound on 25th Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle to the right, corrected back and left the road on the left side where it impacted a bridge abutment, flipped, coming to rest on it’s roof in Beaver Creek. The rescue and dive team members recovered the body from inside the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Marinette County Coroner George Smith. The victim is a white male believed to be in his early 40’s from Marinette County. His name is being withheld pending the ongoing investigation by the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office and the Marinette County Coroner. Sheriff Jerry Sauve said this is the third traffic fatality of the year.
