(IRON MOUNTAIN, MI.)–Weather Forecasts early Monday morning, forced the officials to cancel the ceremony activities at the Dickinson County Courthouse. The forecast was calling for rain and thunderstorms before 9am and up until 1pm then later this morning. The weather, according to officials, could have caused damage to the musical instruments of area schools. The parade and the courthouse was canceled shortly before 8am. That decision also forced the cancellation of the broadcast of the event on The Mountain, WHTO.
