(SAGOLA TOWNSHIP, Mi)–Two teenagers were killed in a two vehicle crash near Silver Lake Saturday. Michigan State Police from the Iron Mountain post responded to a two-car traffic crash at approximately 10:49 a.m. Saturday. The crash occurred on M-95, near the Marquette County line. Eighteen year old Taylor Bosley of Kingsford and 17-year-old Jolene Treml of Kingsford were traveling northbound on M-95 when their vehicle lost control and crossed over the center line, colliding into a vehicle heading southbound. Both Bosley and Treml were pronounced dead at the scene. Forty Six old Steven Anderson, 40-year-old Julie Anderson and their two children were in the southbound vehicle, and were all transported to Marquette General Hospital. All persons involved in the accident were wearing seatbelts. Speed and weather conditions are considered to be factors in the accident. Assisting troopers were deputies from the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, STAR Ambulance, Beacon Ambulance, Integrity Ambulance, Sagola Fire and Rescue, and Republic Fire and Rescue all assisted at the scene.
