(NORWAY TOWNSHIP, MI.)–A 31-year old man was seriously injured when he lost control of a four wheeler on the Norway Truck Trail. His four wheeler left the trail striking a tree. The driver, the lone occupant, was wearing a helmet at the time, however, sustained serious injuries. He was transported from the scene by Integrity Care EMS, then flown by Valley Med Flight to trauma center in Milwaukee. Michigan State Police troopers from the Iron Mountain Post were assisted at the scene by Integrity Care EMS, Norway Fire Department, North Alert Ambulance and Era Chevrolet Towing. The crash remains under investigation.
