The Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) is hosting a FREE health fair for seniors. The health fair will be held Friday, April 7th from 12-1:30 pm at the Florence Community Center, located at 749 Central Avenue, Florence, WI.
The businesses and organizations that will be present include: Florence Vision Clinic, Dickinson Diabetes Clinic, Florence Prescription Services, Spine Pain Diagnostics, Florence County Health Department, Dickinson Rehab Services, Tri-County Communications, ADRC, and the Food WIse Nutrition Program.
In addition to lots of great educational materials and information; there will be blood pressure screenings, diabetes screenings, eye glass adjustments and referrals for balance screenings, plus free healthy snacks!
Please join us for lunch prior to the start of the health fair. Lunch is available at 11:30 am at the ADRC’s Florence Senior Dining Center, located at the Florence Community Center. There is a suggested donation of $4.00 for adults 60 and over or a cost of $7.00 for those under 60. Please make your reservation 48 hours in advance by calling (715) 528-4261.
