The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease
The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) and Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Wisconsin are hosting “The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer’s” class. This free workshop will be presented on Tuesday, September 26th, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at NWTC in Aurora.
This comprehensive workshop is designed to provide participants with the basic information about memory loss issues. Topics to be covered in this program includes in depth information about the warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease and how they differ from typical memory changes associated with aging, risk factors for developing dementia, current research trends and opportunities as well as treatment options for persons with Alzheimer’s.
The Basics will be presented by Julie St. Pierre, Outreach Specialist for the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Wisconsin Chapter on Tuesday, September 26 from 1:00pm-2:30pm at NWTC Aurora (2030 Calvary Drive).
