(FLORENCE, WI.)–The public is invited to shape the future of the way transportation services and programs are delivered locally by sharing opinions and priorities at a transportation coordination meeting from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 26, 2018, at the Florence County Courthouse (2nd floor Conference Room), 501 Lake Avenue, Florence, WI. Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission is facilitating the meeting. The primary function of the meeting is to review and update the 2013 Coordinated Public Transit/Human Services Transportation Coordination Plan for Florence/Marinette and Oconto County, which is required to maintain Florence County’s eligibility for certain federal transportation program grants. Persons with a vested interest in transportation services and programs are encouraged to attend. Input from multiple stakeholders will strengthen the planning document, which will include projections for the next five years.
