07:20 am a deputy arrested Dakota Johnson (22) of Menominee on 2 valid warrants in the City of Menominee. Both warrants were for failure to appear for show cause out of 95A District Court of Menominee. Johnson was transported to the Menominee County Jail where he was lodged without incident.
06:57 pm a deputy responded to a civil dispute in Spalding Township. The subjects were arguing over the possession of a car. The deputy attempted to resolve the problem however no agreement could be reached and both parties were advised that it would have to be decided in civil court.

12:30 pm a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in Spalding Township. The caller stated he was having problems with a tenant and just wanted something on record in case any further problems occurred.

07:00 am a deputy arrested Matthew Kosaszewski (30) of Wallace on a valid warrant in Mellen Township. The warrant was for failure to appear to show cause out of 41st Circuit Court of Menominee. Kosaszewski was able to post the required bond and was released with a court date and time to appear.
08:35 am a deputy investigated a stray dog complaint in Ingallston Township. Upon further investigation the dog’s owner was arrested for stray dog and was also cited for prohibited parking. The incident was sent to the prosecutor’s office for review.
11:20 am a deputy responded to a residence in the Village of Daggett for a stray dog complaint. The caller stated the dog showed up in her yard and this has been an ongoing problem. The deputy attempted to make contact with the dog’s owner however was unable to so the dog was transported to the Menominee County Animal Shelter.

04:16 pm a deputy was dispatched to a residence in Mellen Township for a larceny report. The caller stated a package was delivered to her neighbor by accident from FedEx and the neighbor refused to give her the package or answer the door for FedEx to correct the problem. Upon investigation, Nancy Eichhorn (58) of Wallace was arrested for larceny by conversion and was transported to the Menominee County Jail. Eichhorn was later released on bond.

11:45 am a deputy was dispatched to a vehicle that was parked in the roadway in Stephenson Township. Upon arriving on scene and finding no one around the deputy attempted to located the owner however was unable to do so. The vehicle was then towed due to it being a traffic hazard. The vehicle was later picked up by the owner at the towing company.
06:24 pm a deputy responded to a juvenile runaway complaint in Mellen Township. The caller stated her daughter who is on a tether ran away from her when they were over in Marinette WI. A short time later the juvenile’s probation officer was able to locate her at an address in Marinette WI and she was picked up and returned to her mother. The incident was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office and family court for review.

07:21 am a deputy responded to a jack-knifed semi on M-35 in Cedarville Township. A semi driven by Robert Wertman (38) of Rogers City Mi was traveling on M-35 when a vehicle that was passing him pulled in front of him. Wertman stated he hit the brakes which caused his trailer to jack knife in the roadway. No injuries were reported however the semi sustained functional damage.
11:32 am a deputy responded to a one vehicle property damage accident in Mellen Township. A vehicle driven by Nicole Brown (33) of Green Bay, WI was traveling on US 41 when she lost control on snow covered icy roads. Brown left the roadway and slid in the ditch causing her to strike a road sign. No injuries were reported and the vehicle sustained only minor damage.
05:05 pm a deputy responded to a 3-vehicle personal injury accident in Menominee Township. A vehicle driven by Geffrey Litts (52) of Menominee was attempting to pass a vehicle driven by Brandon Kupczak (41) of Cumming, GA. Litts failed to properly pass which caused him to side swipe Kupczak. A third vehicle driven by Jerelyn Lemay (64) of Abrams, WI was then unable to avoid striking Kupczak. Litts stated he did not have any injuries and his vehicle sustained only minor damage. Kupczak did not report any injuries however his 2 passengers reported minor injuries and his vehicle sustained disabling damage. Lemay had apparent minor injuries and her vehicle sustained disabling damage. Both Kupczak’s and Lemay’s vehicles were towed from the scene.
10:16 pm a deputy responded to a breaking and entering/intimidation/stalking compliant in Meyer Township. The caller stated they returned home to find someone had been in their home. The situation is under investigation and is ongoing.
09:00 am a deputy responded to a one vehicle traffic accident on US 41 in Stephenson Township. A vehicle driven by Clifford Kozak (67) of Daggett lost control of his vehicle on snow covered icy roads causing him to go in the ditch and strike a sign. No injuries or damage to the vehicle was reported.

08:00 am a deputy responded to a residence in Harris Township for a report of the neighbor’s dog having killed several chickens. Upon arriving on scene, the callers stated they located the neighbors dog in their yard killing several chickens and ducks. They stated the dog was currently locked in their garage. Several photos were taken of perished chickens and then the dog was transported to the owner’s residence where he took possession of the animal. The dog’s owner agreed to speak with the neighbors and pay to replace the deceased birds. The incident was closed once the exchange took place.
10:14 am a deputy arrested Anthony Williams (31) of Wilson on a valid warrant in Delta County. The warrant was for failure to appear to show cause out of 95A District Court of Menominee. Williams was transported to the Menominee County Jail where he was lodged without incident.
04:00 pm deputies along with Menominee/Ingallston Township Fire Department and EMS responded to an ORV personal injury accident in Menominee Township. An ORV driven by Marcus Kronauer (42) of Menominee left the roadway and struck a mailbox. Kronauer sustained injuries requiring transportation to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing and possible charges are pending.

06:45 am a deputy arrested Michael Jones (25) of Escanaba on a valid warrant in Delta County. The warrant was for failure to appear for show cause out of 95A District Court of Menominee. Jones was transported to the Menominee County Jail where he was lodged without incident.
08:59 am a deputy responded to a business in Cedarville for a report of a larceny. Upon arriving on scene an investigation was conducted and the incident was closed.
