(DELTA COUNTY, MI.)–A student who apparently threatened to commit a school shooting at Escanaba Senior High School may be charged by the Delta County Prosecuting Attorney. Wednesday, Escanaba Public Safety personnel responded to the school to investigate threats made by a student. The investigation found the threats were credible and the student was taken into custody and was evaluated by mental health officials of Pathways Community Mental Health. The student has been lodged at Bay Pines Juvenile Detention.
