(BEAVER, WI.)–Marinette County Sheriff, Jerry Sauve, released information concerning a three vehicle traffic accident. One of the vehicles was an LP Delivery truck. Several units responded to the scene 1/3rd of a mile north of County Highway P. A southbound auto parts delivery truck had slowed in traffic and was struck from behind by a pickup truck that was towing a trailer loaded with another truck. Following the impact, the trailer shifted left of the centerline of the roadway striking the LP Delivery truck. Following that collision, the LP truck entered the east ditch rolling onto it’s side. The pickup truck came to rest in the west ditch. All three drivers were alone in the vehicles and were treated at the scene for non life threatening injuries. US Highway 141 traffic was detoured around the crash scene and onto county and town roads. Multiple wreckers responded to the scene to assist with cleaning up the wreckage. Do to concerns of the volatility of the LP truck, sheriff’s deputies went to residences to notify occupants to evacuate the residence. On one was apparently at home at the time according to the sheriff. Highway 141 remained a detour until the LP truck was able to be rendered safe and could be removed. More information is expected to be released by sheriff Sauve once the accident report is completed.
