(MUNISING, MI.)–There are new details on missing hiker Kara Moore. She has been found alive and had been missing since Friday. The Milwaukee woman told official how she survived five days in the wilderness.
According to a statement she authored to the National Park Services, she believes she woke up Wednesday and couldn’t find her family members and she started hiking.
Moore suffers from short term memory loss.
National Parks Service officials believe Moore was drinking from creeks and streams in the area and she possibly remembers sleeping next to a log at one time.
The investigation is continuing.
